new car etc.
I decided to write since I'm going away for the weekend. TC's taking me to Geneseo tomorrow afternoon so I can spend the weekend with my cousin Em. I know tomorrow night we're going out to dinner and a movie to celebrate her friend's birthday. The rest of the weekend will probably mostly be homework, movies, and delivery! :-) I can't wait. I miss her!
Sus is getting a new car tonight. It's a gold 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. She totalled the Saturn on Tuesday night on her way home from her gramma's. Her and her mom hit a deer just up the road from me. They're both fine except for aches and pains. Susie has to go back to the doctor to see if she fractured her left wrist (it was too swollen to tell). I guess her mom's wrist was swollen as well. They're using their gap insurance and a loan to pay for the new car. I'm going over to her house tonight so I'll get to see both the old one and the new one. I'm just glad they're all right. Everyone at the scene said if she had been going any faster or any slower or if she had hit it at any other angle, one or both of them would be dead.
The marking period ended yesterday. I am so far behind in homework it isn't funny. I went home sick last Monday and last Thursday. I took half a day last Friday and I stayed home sick this past Tuesday. I'm just so fucking lazy and I know it! It bugs the shit out of me! I'm gonna have some pretty nasty Chem and History grades. Hopefully all the other ones will be fine. They should be. I stayed after to make up the History test I missed on Tuesday. I handed in one of the four missing labs I have in Chem. I also made up the assignment that was due earlier that morning in my English 12 class. I just cannot bring myself to keep up with this shit. If I have a horrible report card everyone will know. I threw out the notice from my History teacher saying that I was currently failing. Thankfully I got to it before either of my parents. Em said she has a ton of homework to do this weekend so maybe I'll catch up with all my shit.
O yeah, Sus' parents have agreed to support her in having a baby. She's been buying baby clothes and things. Her mom even took her out once. I was so surprised when I heard that they were ok with it. It's nice tho. It will be good for her. She'll be a great mother, even if she isn't sure she will. ;-)
