plans, plans, and more plans
I'm starting to buckle down and seriously plan my wedding. I should have started this at least a month ago, but new babies are exhausting. I have just over 3 months until the big day. *See ticker at bottom of page* Anyway, I emailed Moriah to see when she could come over and help me make phone calls. She's still in school; she's a senior this year like I was supposed to be. She said she won't be free until Sunday afternoon, but many of the places we need to call will probably be closed. Tom is off Mondays and Tuesdays. Hopefully she won't be busy after school on one of those days so Tom can take us dress hunting. We know what we want, but it's at a store in the city. I think we should look at the stores out here to see if we can find the same dress or something similiar for less.
What kind of flowers do you suggest for a winter wedding? Someone must have a good *inexpensive* idea. I need a bouquet for myself, one for Moriah, three for my dad, Matt, and Tom, possibly two more for the mothers, and maybe some centerpieces. I'm working on the tightest budget imaginable.
I'm going to ask my mom's cousin to make our cake and my dad's cousin to do the photography. I don't think we're going to do a DJ or live music. It would probably be easiest to just burn some CDs. It will only be us, Matt, Moriah, our parents and maybe siblings, and just maybe our grandparents. Any money saving tips out there, married women??
Alright, so that's my quick rundown. If I don't update for awhile it's because I'm busy with that. And no, I don't have wedding colors yet because we haven't decided if Moriah's dress will be light blue or apple red. Ah!!
